I told Prudence that I attended a Hula Workshop at the Berlin Ukulele Festival. First she wasn’t sure what I meant (and wondered why no hoop was inolved) – but after I explained it to her, she came up with another cute expectation vs. reality comic.
Somehow she imagined me dancing gracefully (she probably hasn’t seen the video) and herself a little akward but oh so cute. Tbh I can identify with both pictures again. I love seeing myself dancing all gracefully but in reality it’s usually a bit akward and with a lot more belly hanging out than in her picture (not that I’m dancing in grass skirt and coconut bra, but you know, if I did…).
