Tiger Music sent me two ukuleles as review samples and giveaway items. As some of you may know, my very first ukulele is from Tiger and I still like it very much. Everyone in the German and many in the international ukulele scene know UkeFrank by now. He is a welcomed guest at many ukulele festivals and a regular at Open Mics. I’ve know him through Facebook for a while now and at Austrian Ukulele Festival in May we finally met in person.

Ruhrkulele 2019

From 22.11-24.11.2019 the second Ruhrkulele Festival took place in Essen, Germany. Since everyone was raving about last years festival I knew that this was the place to be and booked my tickets as soon as they went on sale.

Berliner Ukulele Festival 2019

From 25th to 27th of October it was time again for Berlin Ukulele Festival at UFA Fabrik. I had a great time last year so I didn’t want to miss it. I even came a day earlier than last year and stayed until Monday to make sure, that I could enjoy the whole festival.

Ukulele Retreat – a neverending encounter with the Fraud Police

I spent the first weekend of October in a lovely ukulele retreat in Lower Austria. It was organized by my ukulele friends Manuela and Markus (who also joined me at UFO Festival). They opened up their beautiful home and hosted a fun weekend.
