As you all know, I’m a huge Amanda Palmer fan. Last weekend she started a songwriting contest and of course, I had to enter it. There’s also a back story as to why she started the contest:

Now that everything is getting a bit more quiet again I’ve had some time to think and started wondering, where this sudden urge to be on stage is coming from.

While I was in Oslo I met up with the lovely Idatherese. She was one of my very first followers on Instagram and the love for Amanda Palmer and Ukulele brought us together. So when she found out that I was gonna be in Oslo, she suggested to do some songs together.

Ukulele Intro – AOJIM

I got this ukulele as a review sample and didn’t expect much from it. I was very suprised at the quality. It came carefully packaged with a soft gig bag and lots of accessories and was shipped very quickly.

It is my first Tenor size ukulele – seems really big for my taste, so I’m not sure if I’ll keep it or do a giveaway with it 😉

Oslo Ukulele Festival 2019

From 21st of June until 23rd of June Oslo Ukulele Festival took place in the lovely Nydalen neighboorhood. As you’ve probably seen, I was there as an artist (my first performance on main stage). But I also want to blog about the festival in general.

In the last years she became an important actor in the ukulele scene in Europe and this charming festival is a perfect example of all the love she gives to this community.
